Can I install a smart irrigation controller myself?
Yes you can. The retrofit controller takes under 10 minutes to install and configure.
How do I know if I’m saving water?
The ETwater service allows you access to a variety of custom reports related to your water usage. Simply select the report and date range of your choice to instantly see your savings.
How do I know if my watering schedule is appropriate?
Our dedicated staff of customer care specialists can assist with site preparation and management to ensure that our system is meeting your needs and watering accurately.
What do I do if I need assistance with my Smart Controller Device?

What does weatherized irrigation mean?
Weather data is streaming to us 24/7 and with that we have the ability to adjust watering schedules daily and proactively. This predictive weather capability allows us to respond quickly and often days in advance of a weather event. We call this hyper local, as each controller is accurate to within 6 meters. We manage to the weather in a proactive way rather than a reactive way.
What if I already have an irrigation controller? Can I still use ETwater?
Yes. ETwater is the only company that can take your existing irrigation controller and retrofit to make it smart.
What if I have special restrictions on how much or when I can irrigate?
We manage those for you. Simply let us know what Municipal Restrictions are in effect where you live and our service will do the rest.
What if I need to shut-off my system for a season?
The ETwater service allows you to suspend your smart controller device watering at any time. You can even set it up so that the suspension will be lifted on a specific date to resume.
What is a Smart Controller Device?
A Smart Controller device is irrigation hardware equipment that is customized for use with the ETwater service.
Who can access my ETwater account?
Whoever you would like to give access to and designate (up to x users?) We value your privacy and do not share your login information with anyone that you haven’t authorized.
Will ETwater be able to detect a leak?
Yes. Our Flow Monitoring feature calculates data from your flow sensor to work with the ETwater service.
